Dr. Theophilus Nkansah is a Founding Member of OCP. He holds a PhD in Education from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, with specialization in adult literacy in community development.
He holds a Masters’ degree in Adult Education from the University of Ghana, Legon. Dr. Nkansah has twenty-six years’ experience in community development and project management.
He has worked with several International and local NGOs including: World Vision International (Ghana Office), Compassion International, Cadbury PLC in the Cadbury Cocoa Partnership Programme (CCP), and the Netherlands Development Organization(SNV).
He is currently a Project Director with CARE International in Ghana. Dr. Nkansah uses his spare time to work for Optimal Change Partnership as Volunteer Executive Director.
Emmanuel is a Founding Member of OCP. He has been involved in community work for over 15 years, working with and also providing training for communities and various NGOs. Since 2008, he has worked as Country Coordinator of the Global Community Health Evangelism (CHE) Network-Ghana. Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Development Studies from Kimmage College, Dublin-Ireland, he also has Msc in Project Planning and Management from the University of Bradford, UK.
He has many years’ hands on experience in the areas of Health and Sanitation, Education, Agriculture, Micro Finance Development, People Living with Disability and Nutrition. Mr. Osei has delivered training to various NGOs including Mercy Ship, Wash, World Vision, Pioneer Ghana, Theo Vision, Fame, heart-beat for Africa, United for Africa, the Methodist Church of Ghana, and Baptist Church, Suyani
Mrs. Appiah is a Founding Member of OCP. She has over twelve (12) years’ working experience from the following industries; mining, consultancy, optical, education and IT. Her experience was acquired both locally and internationally.
She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business, awarded by the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff-Wales and a degree in Human Resources Management from the Central University College. She is currently pursuing final level HR professional certification Programme with the Institute of Human Resource Management practitioners, Ghana.
Her expertise includes training and development, policy formulation, proposal writing, manpower planning, recruitment and selection. She has great passion in using her knowledge, skills and abilities to improve rural communities in a sustainable way.
